Can we form teams?
If you have co-workers or friends that you want to climb with, you will be able to register this year as a team. If you want to climb together we ask that you meet prior to the climb and stay together.
Is the Virtual option available this year?
Yes, Virtual option is available. We encourage you to complete the virtual stair climb by walking, running, biking or alternative workout 9.11k (a total of 110 stories) in September 2026. Where will the climb be located and how many laps will it take to equal 110 floors?
The climb will take place at: Route 66 Stadium 955 E. Trafficway Street, Springfield, MO 65802. Participants will climb 2,200 stairs, the equivalent of 110 stories, representing the number of floors in the fallen World Trade Center towers. Can I request a specific firefighter of the 343 to climb for?
Unfortunately, no climbers receive one of the 343 FDNY firefighters at random during packet pickup.
How do I register?
Click the registration button on the homepage at springfieldmemorialstairclimb.org or click the link on our Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/SpringfieldMemorialStairClimb. Both will take you to the main registration page. There you will create a profile and or a team profile and register for the climb.
